Stormwater planning and assessment supporting the operational requirements of the Bowen Orbital Space Facility.

Project Overview

Civil IQ developed the Stormwater Management Plan for the Bowen Orbital Space Project to accompany the Overarching Environmental Management Plan and address the operational stormwater requirements established by the Office of the Coordinator-General.

The assessment reviewed the site’s as-constructed works to determine stormwater quantity and quality impacts relative to the existing scenario. The project required practical drainage solutions that could be integrated with infrastructure already constructed while satisfying planning approval requirements.
