Civil IQ was engaged by Port of Townsville Limited to prepare the detailed design for the expansion of the Benwell Road and the new Windlass Crossing carparks. The project involved extending existing parking areas, developing a new cleared and filled parking area and upgrading the connecting drainage channel to improve performance and maintain site access.

Working within an active port environment, the design required careful coordination with existing underground services, recently completed construction works and parallel design activities. Civil IQ delivered pavement, drainage, fencing, bill of quantities, RPEQ certification and construction support to provide a practical and coordinated design solution.
