Reef Catchments engaged Civil IQ to develop an internal guideline that streamlines the planning and approvals process for rehabilitation projects undertaken within tidal waterways. The framework combines a clear decision-making flowchart with step-by-step guidance, supporting information, approval pathways and practical project examples to assist staff through the early planning stages.

Developed through workshops with Reef Catchments staff, the framework was tailored to suit a broad range of users while reflecting Queensland's complex local and state approval requirements.
